"Clash of the Titanesses" by is what this piece is so aptly named, which I had to abbreviate for the Dev Title.

It's a piece that got its start when I asked for suggestions on artists that would do an illustration that would fit this Heri/Wherl short story I've written: [link]
At the time I had a standard set of baby sale commissions from Alex, but he contacted me and through an updated page he created: [link] and an ongoing of emails back and forth between us (gotta love Google's email threading) this piece finally is finished in over a month.

Clash of the Titanesses is giving way too much credit to my Heris and Wherls but it definitely describes the level of quality that Alex brought out in this piece. Not only did he keep it firmly grounded in the COHverse with precise detail to the characters, objects and even background, he made it his own with little unique bits. And during the process of creating it he was very communicative and very easy to work with in making alterations to the piece so we both were happy.

Note: On the level of detail, the background building on fire, its surrounding tress and fences, and the war walls behind it, I have no idea if he drew it from memory or reference, I'll have to ask him someday, if its memory I'm thoroughly impressed, but regardless, it uncannily matches this in game screenshot I took: [link]
